Our Story

ThreadedTopic didn’t start with a business plan, a pitch deck, or some grand vision about “changing the future.”

It started with curiosity.

At some point, we stumbled into the early wave of AI tools—messy, unpredictable, and sometimes completely useless. One of the first things we tried was an AI image generator. The results were weird. Not impressive. But interesting enough to keep going.

So we did what curious people do.

We kept testing.

Chatbots, AI writing tools, research assistants, half-broken platforms that barely worked—if it existed, we tried it. Not because we had to. Just because we wanted to understand what was actually worth using.

Back then, ThreadedTopic wasn’t even an idea.

It was just conversations. Late nights. Shared links. Notes scattered everywhere. Comparing tools. Arguing over which ones were overrated and which ones actually had potential.

Then something changed.

People started asking us questions.

  • “Which AI tool should I use?”
  • “Is this actually worth it?”
  • “Where do I even start?”

And we realized something simple:

There was too much noise—and not enough honest answers.

That’s where ThreadedTopic began.

Not as a content site, but as a solution to a real problem:
A place where AI tools are tested, filtered, and explained based on real experience—not hype.

From Notes to Platform

What started as personal experiments slowly turned into something more structured.

We began documenting everything:

  • What works
  • What doesn’t
  • What’s overhyped
  • What actually saves time

That process led to the creation of our platform:

ai-tools.threadedtopic.com

An AI Finder designed to make discovering tools easier, faster, and more practical.

With structured filters, categorized tools, and continuous updates, it’s built for one purpose: helping users cut through the noise and find what actually matters.

The platform is live—but like everything in AI, it’s constantly evolving.

What This Became

ThreadedTopic is no longer just a collection of tools or articles.

It’s an ongoing process.

A mix of:

  • Curiosity that never really stopped
  • Real-world testing and experimentation
  • And a commitment to sharing what actually works

We don’t claim to predict the future of AI.

But we do stay close to it—testing, building, and learning as it unfolds.

And if there’s one thing we’ve learned so far, it’s this:

The next generation of AI tools won’t just make things faster.

They’ll change how people think, create, and solve problems.

We’re here to document that—step by step.
